I could not be a bigger advocate for "assistants". I have walked and talked their language for close to 30 years now. (Wow! Didn't realize how old I was until I typed that sentence! Ugh). Assisting others administratively has been such a fulfilling career for me. So much so that I started a company to further employ them, excel their careers and coach/educate them. Not to mention teach entrepreneurs/CEO's/small business owners, the true art of delegation
When you hire an assistant, be it a receptionist or administrative assistant for your team, or an executive assistant for yourself (and possibly your other exec's), or a virtual assistant to help you with your business remotely, you will immediately see their value and the value of your decision. All the minutiae and administrative tasks that seemingly take up the majority of your day will be taken off your plate and you'll suddenly feel a tremendous weight lifted from your shoulders!
